Start by preparing your electrolyte solution by adding one cup of sodium hydroxide per gallon of distilled water to your container. Make sure everything is mixed well before submerging your titanium pieces into the solution. Attach one end of each cable clamp to a piece of titanium, then attach the other end of each cable clamp to the anode. You should also make sure that no two pieces of titanium are connected together while they are submerged in the electrolyte solution; otherwise, they will short out and not get properly anodized. The next step is hooking up your electrical source\u2014a battery charger works best\u2014to both ends of the cables and turning it on for about half an hour until you achieve desired results.
